Photographer Lauri Bridgeforth has owned and operated her studio, Bridgeforth Photographics, for over 36 years in Old Town Winchester. She assists business owners and marketing executives by telling their corporate stories with professional photography of people, facilities, manufacturing processes, and products. Her work is mostly commercial and portrait imagery, but she also provides photo-restoration services in the region. Her work has appeared in several local and national publications and is displayed in many local and regional collections in both residential and commercial spaces. She is also a FAA-licensed drone pilot. In addition to her family and career in photography, Bridgeforth has served on several boards over the years, including the Shepherd University Board of Governors, and the (John Handley High School’s) Judges Athletic Association. In addition, she is currently President of BNI Winchester’s United Business Partners. She is a former Chairwoman of Winchester’s Old Town Development Board and a current member of the Winchester Main Street Board. She is a former board member of the Shenandoah Arts Council. A current board member of the Women of Winchester board, she is also a former member and Vice Chair of the City of Winchester’s Economic Development Authority. She is also the newest member of The Laurel Center’s board. A long-time resident of Winchester, she has been married to her husband Scott for almost 36 years. They have 3 adult children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, 2 fabulous grandsons and a lovable (most days) German Shepherd named Kevlar.
