Trunk or treat on Loudoun Street
October 17 @ 2:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Trunk or Treat on Loudoun Street returns for its second year as a signature YDC event, bringing together families, community partners, and volunteers for a safe, engaging, and memorable Halloween experience!
This free event invites children and families to explore the Trick or Treat Trail, where participants can collect candy while engaging with interactive booths and activities. The event also features a Pumpkin Patch Corner designed as a fall-themed photo opportunity, a Haunted House experience, and a Sweet Shop where guests can create their own treats. Throughout the evening, music and entertainment will create an energetic and welcoming atmosphere, including a dance floor and emcee-led activities.
New this year, the event will also include a Fall Family Festival and Pumpkin Craft Day, offering outdoor games, seasonal refreshments, and hands-on creative stations for families to enjoy together.
A highlight of the event is the Loudoun Street Costume Walk, where participants can showcase their costumes in a lively, community-centered experience. Categories will include most creative, funniest, spookiest, best group, and YDC spirit. Community judges will also recognize standout trunk designs.
This event is designed to create connection, celebrate the season, and provide a safe and inclusive space for families in our community. Registration is required to attend. Sponsor announcements will be shared closer to the event.
We look forward to welcoming you to one of the most anticipated family events of the season at the YDC!
