Brady Cloven is the Executive Director of Friends of Old Town, a nonprofit that’s all about bringing people together to make Old Town Winchester a vibrant, lively place. Brady leads community projects that connect local businesses, residents, and other supporters to keep the town’s charm alive, encourage sustainable growth, and celebrate its rich history.

Corbin Sutton

Corbin Sutton has been a proud resident of downtown Winchester since 2011 and is a dedicated local business owner. He is happily married to Meghan Sutton (Sullivan), and together they are raising their daughter, Evie Ryan Sutton, who is 4 months old. Corbin is also a devoted dog-dad to their beloved pet, Sammy. Committed to both family and community, Corbin takes pride in contributing to the vibrancy of downtown Winchester.

Daniel O'Brien

Dan O’Brien, a private practice attorney, and his wife, Morgan, an oncologist at Shenandoah Oncology, moved to Winchester nearly a decade ago and quickly fell in love with the town. Dan especially appreciates Winchester's strong sense of community, rich history, and unique events like the Apple Blossom Festival—not to mention the vibrant downtown. A former Marine and lifelong "military brat," Dan has lived all over the world but has now spent more time in Winchester than anywhere else and proudly calls it “home.” He serves as Vice-chair of Friends of Old Town and leads the organization committee. If you spot him walking his greyhound, Fiona, or enjoying a show at the Monument or Bright Box, a coffee at Espresso Bar, or a glass of wine at Village Square, feel free to say hello!

Holly Redding

Holly Redding

Holly Redding is the founder and owner of Winchester Brew Works, a lively, family-friendly brewery in Old Town Winchester that’s been a local hangout for nine years. She’s the secretary for Friends of Old Town and has served on the Winchester Main Street board. Originally from North Carolina, Holly’s an NC State grad with a love for sausage gravy and Eastern Carolina BBQ. After moving to Harrisonburg, VA, and working at Merck Pharmaceuticals, she and her business partner decided to open a brewery in Winchester. Holly lives near downtown with her husband Arthur and their two boys, Oliver (8) and Winston (5). Outside of work, she loves horror movies, bubbly rosé, renaissance faires, and true crime books. She also serves on the Brewers Association board and works with the local tourism board. Basically, Holly’s the kind of person you want to hang with.

Katie Mooney Buzby

Katie Mooney Buzby

Katie Mooney Buzby is the Board Chair for Friends of Old Town. Since moving to Winchester in 2019, Katie has been quick to immerse herself in downtown life and lept at the chance to give back to the community when the opportunity arose to move Main Street functions from the City to a new nonprofit. A former design professional and organizational consultant, Katie has spent the past four years growing the Peter Bullough Foundation, an arts nonprofit located on Cork Street in downtown Winchester. Katie lives in the City of Winchester with her husband Keith and young son.

Josh Huff

Promotions Committee Chairperson

Josh Huff

Josh Huff serves as the Promotions Chair for the Friends of Old Town. With over a decade of experience in events, non-profits, and business development, he is excited to apply all of his love of and experience in Old Town Winchester into growing Friends of Old Town into a thriving support system for the downtown. Josh’s experience includes running Bright Box Theater for 9 years, and being the current Director of Community Programs at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley for 3 years. Josh also serves on the Winchester-Frederick County Tourism Board. When Josh is not downtown or running an event, you can find him hiking, at a concert, or traveling with his spouse Amie, and their daughter, Autumn.

Kyle Hopkins

Design Committee Chairperson

Kyle Hopkins

Kyle Hopkins, a Frederick County native, is an architect and community advocate passionate about preserving Winchester’s charm. He owns Four Square Architects, a boutique firm in Old Town, known for revitalizing historic spaces like Pizzoco Pizza Parlor and Paladin Downtown, both award-winning projects. Kyle served seven years on Winchester’s Board of Architectural Review, chaired the Design Committee for Friends of Old Town, and has contributed to the Economic Development Authority. With degrees in Architecture and Fine Arts, he lives in a restored Victorian home with his husband, two dogs, and crafty cat.

Scott Dawson

Scott Dawson

Scott Dawson is a long-time resident of Winchester and is proud to serve on the Friends of Old Town Board. He is a Real Estate Agent at OakCrest Commercial Real Estate. He resides in Old Town, so he both works and lives within walking distance of what he believes to be the best Small Town Main Street Area in Virginia. He has previously served as Chairman of the Old Town Development Board and can not wait to roll up his sleeves and work towards the future of Old Town Winchester.

Marett Rose

Marett Rose

Marett Rose has lived in the historic district of Winchester for nearly a decade, and as a Massachusetts transplant, she values the city's unique character and charming small-town feel. As a member of the Board of Trustees, Marett brings over 15 years of experience in fundraising and nonprofit management. Marett holds a BA in Fine Art and French from Roanoke College, and an MS in Fundraising Management from Columbia University; she specializes in operations and maximizing resources. Marett has worked for several organizations in the educational and conservation sector, such as The Nature Conservancy, Rainforest Alliance, Columbia University Libraries, and Foxcroft School. She currently works for Shenandoah University and is exhilarated to be helping celebrate the university's 150th year.

Lauri Bridgeforth

Lauri Bridgeforth

Lauri Bridgeforth has owned Bridgeforth Photographics in Old Town Winchester for over 36 years, specializing in commercial and portrait photography. Her work has been featured in publications and displayed locally, and she also offers drone photography and photo restoration. A dedicated community member, Lauri serves on several boards, including the Winchester Main Street Board and The Laurel Center, and is President of BNI Winchester’s United Business Partners. She’s a past Chairwoman of Winchester’s Old Town Development Board. A long-time Winchester resident, Lauri enjoys life with her husband Scott, their three grown kids, two grandsons, and their lovable (sometimes) German Shepherd, Kevlar.

Laura Gillespe

Laura Gillespe

As one of the newest additions to the board of Friends of Old Town, Laura Gillespie is eager to contribute to the vibrant community of Winchester. Since moving to the City of Winchester in 2020, Laura has enjoyed the charm and history of the historic district, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She is passionate about preserving the character of Old Town and enjoys spending time working on her historic home. Professionally, Laura is an IT Project Manager with extensive experience in managing and executing complex projects. Her professional skills and commitment to community involvement prove as a valuable asset to the Friends of Old Town board. Laura is excited to bring her expertise and enthusiasm to support the organization’s mission of enhancing and preserving the unique heritage and character of Old Town Winchester.
